Those first days with your baby are a whirlwind — overflowing with love, amazement… and yes, a bit of exhaustion. Even the simplest tasks, like leaving the house, feel like a full-on expedition: change the diaper, feed the baby, buckle the car seat, grab the bag, and somehow get out the door on time. I get it. My job is to make sure that coming to your newborn session feels easy and stress-free — because these photos should be a joy, not another item on your to-do list.
When to schedule your session.
Newborn sessions work beautifully within the first 7–10 days of life, while babies are still sleepy and love to curl up. But don’t worry if that time frame passes — every stage is worth capturing, and I’ll work with whatever timing feels right for you.
What to do before I arrive.
Feed and settle your baby shortly before the session if possible — a full, content baby usually drifts off easily, which helps us start smoothly. But if timing doesn’t line up, that’s perfectly fine. We’ll follow your baby’s rhythm.
What baby should wear.
Keep it simple: a soft swaddle, a plain onesie, or just a diaper is perfect. There’s no need to dress your baby up — newborns look their sweetest in natural, cozy clothing that shows off all those tiny details.
Personal touches make it special.
If you have a blanket, toy, or heirloom you’d love to include, set it aside so I can work it into your photos. These little details tell your family’s story.

What about you?
I always take family photos — not just baby portraits. Neutral, soft colors work beautifully on camera and let the connection between you and your baby shine through. Choose outfits you can move and cuddle in — this is about love, not looking “perfect.”
No stress, no rush.
Babies cry, need to eat, or just want a cuddle — and that’s absolutely okay. I’ll take my time, follow your baby’s lead, and make sure the whole experience feels calm and natural. My goal is to capture this moment in your life, exactly as it is — full of love and connection.
Any questions?
If you’re wondering about anything — what to wear, what I’ll bring, how long it takes - just ask! I’m here to make it simple and stress-free.
