☀️ Best for Sunset Sessions
1. Mueller Lake Park
A modern, peaceful park with a small lake, bridges, walking trails, and wide open skies. It’s stroller-friendly and there’s plenty of space to move around without walking too far. The light at sunset is magical here.
2. Brushy Creek Lake Park
This one has it all — trees, wooden bridges, a small waterfall area, and wide open fields. It’s especially beautiful in the golden hour when the sun hits the water.
3. Lake Pflugerville Park
A big, open lake with dramatic skies. Perfect for those who love wide, clean views. It’s easy to park and walk just a few steps to a great spot.
4. Northwest District Park
A classic neighborhood park with a small lake, stone bridge, and grassy fields. The late afternoon light is soft and warm.
5. Mills Pond Park (Pflugerville)
A hidden gem — quiet, with a lovely pond and dock. The trees around the water create beautiful reflections in the evening.
6. Bull Creek District Park
Creek, rocks, trees, and plenty of green. It’s usually calm and quiet in the mornings, and there are shady spots which are great for summer sessions.
7. Old Settlers Park
A huge park with wide lawns, ponds, and tree-lined areas. Perfect if you want variety without needing to drive far.

8. Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park
If you want a peaceful lake without too many people around, this is a great choice. Wide water views and soft morning light
9. San Gabriel Park
This riverside park has a relaxed, small-town feel. Easy walking trails and lots of space to explore without feeling rushed.
10. Lady Bird Lake Boardwalk
If you like a mix of nature and city, this is it. The skyline, the bridges, the water — especially stunning at sunset.
11. Lou Neff Point
A classic Austin photo spot with panoramic city views across the lake. It’s iconic, but still feels calm during golden hour.
12. Shoal Beach at Town Lake
Grassy areas right next to the lake, with great light and downtown in the background.
13. Pease Park near Shoal Creek
Creek, wooden bridges, and lots of trees — all just minutes from downtown.
14. Waller Creek Greenbelt (Downtown)
A mix of urban and nature. The little creek winds through the city and creates a unique background.
15. Springwoods Park (NW Austin)
Lots of shade, a peaceful creek, and an easy walking path. Simple and sweet for a short, cozy photo session.

Every session is different, and I love helping families find a location that feels just right for them. Whether you dream of golden light by the water or a peaceful shaded walk near a creek, we can find a spot that matches your energy. Let me know what vibe you’re going for — I’d be happy to suggest the perfect place based on where you live or what kind of photos you’d love to have.
