East Bay Birth Photographer | Anny Smirnova

Welcoming a baby into the world is one of the most intimate and powerful experiences a family can share. These birth stories are full of love, connection, and quiet strength, photographed gently and respectfully in hospitals, birth centers, and homes.

These galleries come from my work in St. Petersburg, Russia, and in Texas. I recently moved to the East Bay with my family, and I’m excited to document births here.

My goal is to preserve the moments you’ll never want to forget: a partner’s loving touch, encouragement in a glance, the moment you meet your baby for the first time. My presence is quiet and intuitive, so you can focus on your experience while I preserve it.

I’m based in Danville and happy to travel across the Bay Area, including San Ramon, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, and Fremont. I also offer Fresh 48 sessions in the hospital or at home.
